Genuine reproduction of the G.I. U.S. Machette w/ sheath. Has stamping of "U.S.A. 1943" & has the letters "SWI" stamped in it, which I am told stands for "Schreck Wholesale Inc." - this is made by the Ontario Knife Company for Schreck Wholesale. This was current production of the Machette used during WWII - this is why it is stamped "1943". Comes with a U.S. marked nylon-material canvas-like sheath - this sheath is not Government Issue.
